On January 12, 2023 the Board of Directors approved the purchase of .77 acres of land in the area of Rubidoux. Escrow is anticipated to take 90 days. Design and construction dates have not been established as of yet.
In June of 2023, the Board of Directors approved an agreement with Community Works Design Group of Riverside California for design services for conceptual park drawings.
On August 25, 2023 the Distirct closed escrow on the propoerty and took ownership.
The District has applied for a $2.3M grant for the construction of the park. Award information is anticipated in late 2024.
