Press Release
Provide Input on the Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District (JARPD) Survey
Residents encouraged to take survey on parks and recreation facilities, programs, and services
The JARPD survey is an effort to plan improvements for the future of our parks and recreation facilities, programs, and services. Community input is an important part of this process to better understand our residents’ needs and desires concerning parks and recreation. Your feedback will be used to help guide decisions.
A random sampling of residents has been invited to take a survey, and these responses will provide statistically valid results. In addition, the Park and Recreation District invites all residents to provide feedback and input through an open-link survey that will go live in the middle of September.
The results of this survey will create a priority blueprint for places we can improve, methods for growing responsibly, and programs and recreational opportunities our community would like to see in the JARPD. Residents will be asked questions regarding the types of improvements they want and what they would like the JARPD to prioritize.
This project is led by BerryDunn with survey and data work done by RRC Associates. A total of 5000 households in the JARPD have been mailed a paper survey with option to complete online, and responses from these residents will comprise the statistically valid sample. The open-link survey will give all residents an opportunity to provide feedback, and their responses will be included in the final analysis. While open-link results will be kept separate from the statistically valid responses, these responses will none-the-less provide valuable feedback for JAPRD
You may call the District Office at (951) 361-2090 with any questions about the parks and recreation facilities, programs, and services and why we are collecting this information.
Sincerely,
Colby Diuguid | General Manager
