Avalon Park is one of the oldest parks in the District and is in need of an upgrade. Currently the park features two baseball/softball fields, a small community center, Wanamkaer Gym, parking and a tot lot. The Board of Directors has earmarked approximately $6,000,000 in improvements for Avalon Park. These funds are from the new development planned in the area including Emerald Ridge North and South as well as the Agua Mansa Industrial Buildings. Designs are anticipated to begin in 2024.
