Registration
Registration for all classes, programs. activities and events are based on a firstcome,
first-served basis. Spaces are not reserved or guaranteed. Fees will not
be prorated for late registrations. Schedules and times are subject to change.
Registration is taken at the District Office Monday through Friday from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Registration forms are available
at the District Office or you may print a copy from our website at
www.jarpd.org. District is not responsible for printin g errors. A $25.00 service
charge will be applied to all returned checks. Registration fees may be paid via
cash or check only. Classes must meet minimum enrollments.

Fees:
Registration fees are based upon District residency. Residents are determined
by those whom reside within the Zip Codes of 91752 or 92509. Those living
outside either zip code are considered non-residents. Please call the District
Office for the most up to date information.

Refund and Late Fee Policy
Refunds are only issued in the event the District cancels a pro gram, class, activity
or event.
Prior to enrollment or participation with any District program, a Late Fee Policy
Form & Emergency Card must be completed at the time of registration. For
parent(s) and/or guardian(s) with a child enrolled in a District program arriving
to pick up a child anytime after 5 minutes from the time the program has ended,
a "Late Fee- will take effect and a fee of $1.00 per minute will be applied every
minute thereafter until a parent/guardian arrives. This late fee payment is due
in full immediately upon arrival, payable by cash or check. In the event that
this fee is not paid at the time of arrival, the child will then be excused from the
program in which they are enrolled. At that time, the payment must then be
paid directly to the Jurupa Area Recreation
|
Volunteers
Become a J.A.R.P.D. volunteer! We are looking for volunteers
for our special events, classes, sports coaches, programs, maintenance,
and other various programs. Volunteer applications are
available at the Park District Office Monday—Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Santa will be making stops at homes around the Jurupa Valley area with his special helpers (either elves or Mrs. Claus), candy canes and lots of holiday cheer. Reserve your time with Santa- Early! Times and spaces are limited. Due to Santa's busy schedule, visits are limited to 15 minutes per visit.

Gang/Cultural Awareness Class
Kids in Konflict Ages: 12-18 years old
Kids in Konflict (K.1.K.) is a 6 week intervention, prevention, suppression program working with at-risk youth associated or affiliated with gangs/taggers/crews. The instructor will discuss the harsh realities of gangs through guest speakers, visual aids, group discussion and other exercises. The purpose of the class is to empower and educate our youth to make better choices and decisions. Minimum of 6 participants each session required. Class is limited to 16 participants per session. Registration fee includes class materials: journal, polo shirt and handouts.

Winter Youth Basketball
This is a 9 week recreational league for girls and boys with 3 weeks
of practice. A copy of the player's birth certificate is required at time
of registration. Volunteer coaches required for all teams. If a team
fails to acquire a volunteer coach by the first day of practice, players
will receive a refund. Registration fee includes all league practices,
league games, team jersey and awards.

Folklorico Dance
Join Folklorico Dance and learn various dances from different states in Mexico.
Students learn authentic folk dances that have intricate footwork and
extravagant skirtwork in preparation for public performances (Performances
are NOT mandatory). For beginning students, balance. rhythm and timing are
emphasized as students learn fundamental steps. As students advance, poise,
personality and stage presence become an important part of classes. Choreography
is also added to this learning experience.

Tiny Tots Combo Tap and Ballet

This class consists of fun warm-ups, followed by technique
across the floor, then ending with an energetic routine. Instructors will teach each dance, tap and ballet, for 30 minutes each.
Tap shoes are optional but encouraged as youngsters love hearing their taps on the floor! Minimum: 7 students required. Each session
is 6 weeks long

Tot Time is a recreational program for children 3 to 5 years old taught by our
Recreation Staff. Children are provided with daily activities including arts
and crafts, outdoor play, sports, group games, cooking, story time, singing
and snack. Cooperative play, sharing, participation, building self-esteem and
independence are emphasized. Class is limited to 40 participants. All Children must be potty trained. Class is on-going, monthly during the school
